I got my O’Neill skins shirt for a trip ti Hawaii the end of this month. I haven’t worn it yet. It looks nice hanging in the closet, however.

Be aware that if you do not look like this dude you will be self-conscious wearing this shirt! But it did the job well on the North shore of Oahu while snorkling. It was the backs of my legs that got sunburned. But I loved dealing with the people on the phone. They met my every need quickly, courteously, and above all expectations.

I bought a XL and it is so small it would barely fit a size small woman. It is really really super narrow & tight. I am not chubby, & there is no way I could fit into this shirt. It is going back.

Lightweight fabric, looks like it work work well in warm/tropical weather where UV protection is the main concern. Sizing is a little tight on the shoulder/neck area. I measure roughly 42″ chest and 51″ shoulders and XL feels a little tight.

I was looking for a long-sleeved dive skin that I could use while snorkeling or relaxing at the beach – the O’Neill Basic Skin fills that need perfectly. However, unlike past reviewers, I did not find the dive skin undersized. In fact, I ordered an extra large based on the past reviews and was forced to return it in exchange for a large. I’m 6’0″ 180lbs and the large fits perfectly.

Size chart suggested a large, but I could not pull it over my ~40″ chest. XL fits well, but puts noticeable pressure on the arteries in my 17″ neck. Great aside from that.

Good quality. Lightweight. Runs on the small size and fits right so if you’re not sure what to order them definitely opt for the larger size. Overall good value.

ordered this for my husband for a March trip to Puerto Rico (all day jet skiing in the ocean called for this!). it kept him protected from the sun and also from the life jacket chafing. good quality. has held up well through washing and through summer wear. its a tight medium, but he preferred it tighter for the purposes we needed it for.

Great protection, and dried quickly after getting out of the water. I’m 5’8″ 130 lbs so I ordered a small. Snug fit as expected. The size chart says this could fit up to 5’10” 155 lbs. It might fit, but won’t be easy to get on.

I know skins are supposed to fit snug, but this one runs really small. I wear a woman’s XXL (very hard to find) and usually wear a men’s M, but in this one I need a men’s LX and of course that size is sold out.

5’11” 165lbs the large was tight. Great if you have an athletic build not do great if you have a dad bod.

Nice fabric, long sleeves. Fit was tighter than expected. I’m 6’2″ 170lb and the Large was very snug in the waist but a little roomy in the chest. Someone with upper body/chest bulk and a thin waist would probably like the fit.

Sizing is definitely an issue with this product. I saw other reviews so ordered the XL because it clearly runs small… I am a fairly standard 6’ 190 lbs 41” chest… which normally is Large or Large Slim cut…. With this however the XL is way too tight for comfort for me… the only dimension that seems to be XL is the length… Unless you are a tall skinny person this will not fit…
