These are a nice lightweight shoes. The opening is large enough to put the shoes on without a struggle. Ordered them in brown, liked them enough to order black as well.

Maybe I’m being picky, maybe I had much different expectations, but I’m genuinely shocked by all of these highly positive reviews. They’re not bad, but they aren’t great. They are just OK. They are fine. They are just average 3-star shoes.
Having feet that are the proportions of cinder blocks (albeit with extremely high arches) I tend to find it difficult to find shoes that fit well. To make sure I have proper support, I usually only wear laced shoes. But, I like to see what slip-ons exist in my size because sometimes you just need an easy on-and-off shoe.
Looking at the pictures, Zappos did a great job making them look like simple but stylish shoes. When I received them I wondered if I was sent the wrong shoes. After a quick check, I was definitely sent the right shoes. The pictures did such a great job selling them that the actual shoes were somehow even more boring when I saw them in person.
As for the actual shoe, they are extremely light. Not that I necessarily want a heavy clodding shoe, but the description wasn’t lying when the sole is ‘lightweight’. It’s worryingly light. Like ‘one hard foot plant and turn and the sole will separate from the upper’ light. The heel supposedly has a ‘Comfort Gel’ pad which I can’t tell if it’s actually doing anything because it just feels like a regular insole. Having worn them for a few days I found the leather upper has a pretty sizable give as they are broken in. So while the width was perfect when I got them, I probably could have gotten away with a slightly narrower width because of the give as they are worn more.
So if I don’t have glowing things to say about them, why keep them? They look alright, they fit my feet fine, and the price was reasonable enough for a shoe with a leather upper. I can wear them in a pinch for work or going out, but if you’re looking for proper support or high-end quality I wouldn’t start here. They are the average shoes. They are the plain oatmeal of shoes. They are fine, and sometimes you just need ‘fine.’

I have owned several pair of Nunn Bush shoes in the past. I liked them all until this pair. The stitching on one of the shoes is obviously crooked and the toe of the shoe is deformed. I wont be purchasing anything. Ore from Nunn Bush.

I am very happy with these shoes. They seem to be just slightly larger than I expected, but with a thicker sock, they are extremely comfortable. They are easy to get on and off without the use of a horn or folding the back side of the heel too much. Very flexible sole and lightweight too. I wear this shoe daily to our business casual office. I highly recommend this shoe.

The fit is good and they’re comfortable in the house, but the sole is ridiculously soft. I got these during the first week of August, it’s now the 2nd week of October… so I’ve had them barely over two months and the sole is shot! Worn out and chunks missing from it. I’m retired and sit on my but most of the time, it’s ridiculous how fast the sole has worn out. It’s like the sole is made out of rubberized cork. The upper still looks good.

these were properly wide shoes and felt comfortable with super light soles. However, they do not offer much in the way of support and the soles are not very durable. At about six months in, the tread is completly gone and they tend to slip on ANY smooth surface when it’s damp, including the lines and arrows painted on roadways.

The heavy wedge sole is solid like a boot and the footbed is cushy and flat. The leather uppers are cut and padded to be more comfortable than a boot. I have narrow and rigid flat feet and these are the best shoes I’ve had. I now own three – black, brown and another pair for the garage and yard.

Hi. I ordered Size 14 and was sent Size 15. Although it is extremely hard to see the size of the Shoe ( tiny tag under tongue)the Box clearly says Size 15. The Shoes i ordered in Dec came in a plain brown shoe box. Same brand as these. So i took a picture of the tiny tag so i could blow it up see. And lo and behold they are size 15 too. Do you have these 2 pairs of Shoes in Size 14 Extra Wide ?

the last shoes i ordered were size9 and were too big this so this time i ordered 8.5 and size 9. the 9s are fine and am returning the 8.5s.
The ones that were too big were of a different style
